- חָנוֹקָא, חָנוֹקָהm. (חֲנַק) strangler, fighter. Gen. R. s. 78, beg.; Cant. R. to I, 2, a. e. ח׳ סברתוכ׳ strangler, doest thou mean to choke me, i. e. do you think you can embarrass me with your arguments?
